Dewatering and Waste Treatment
With today’s membrane technology, leachate from landfills or mines can be inexpensively treated to prevent harmful contaminants from entering the environment. In many cases a membrane leaves water so clean just a portion of mine tailings or waste need to be treated or dewatered to meet environmental compliance.
A system design begins with a pilot study or water sample. Process Manufacturing’s engineering department of wastewater, chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineers design a system customized for the leachate source — usually using a combination of technologies to create the most efficient system. We are proficient in the latest membrane technologies and an OEM for all major membrane manufacturers.
